News 2026-06-22 - CS1er Online! (V1.00b) available for web browser access.As mentioned at previous releases, CS1er is now web based and ported from original CS1er code. Plus some new additions. Core features (the port): - WAV → FIAD decoder: faithful byte-exact port of the PureBasic CS1er engine (TI-99/4A cassette audio → disk file) - Multi-file WAV support, full tuning controls - Live oscilloscope: waveform, centre/volume/DC reference lines, matched bit-shape template, per-bit edge markers - FIAD management: list, rename, delete, clear; load external FIAD/TIFILES - Viewer: TI BASIC detokeniser, raw hex, ASCII - WAV re-encoder (FIAD → cassette WAV) New since in this version: - Accepts 16-bit (downsampled) or 8-bit mono wavs - Waveform overview — full-file minimap, click-to-jump 1:1 detail view, scroll bar, and ±32-sample step arrows - Scan Start — sample-accurate start point (set from the overview); bypasses Skip Time - Interactive debugger — record-recognition window + bit-level correction window (flip/scan/nudge bits, Find End, export/import) - Cross-scan harvesting — one shared record set; lock good records, re-scan to recover the rest; Auto Lock / Unlock All; manual record count; Store FIAD - Save DSK (DOAD) — SSSD Sector Dump Format disk image (v9t9 / js99er compatible) - UI/correctness — Tuning split into Wave Adjust / Detection / Recognition; darker disabled controls; WavMid threshold gated to Wave-Midpoint mode 2021-11-01 - CS1er (V0.97b) available for download. Feature and Bug fix release. After many years I dusted off the code and made some updates. - Tuning: Added new, generally more reliable detection mechanism: Detect Mid-wav. - Tuning: Added forward bit detection customisation + duration before forcing bit start. - Debug: Added new bit debuging features/usability enhancements: Skip byte, Skip to byte with inconsistent dis/fix records, Scan and next bit. - Multiple file save: Auto save all files in wave as TAPE1, TAPE2 etc. great for faster bulk transfers. - FIAD List: Added renaming of FIADs (needed for bulk transfer). - Save: Added "Save All" option to save Multiple FIADs simultaneously into chosen directory. Saves both BASIC listing as TXT and FIAD file for all files in FIAD list. - View Contents: Added Raw Data option when viewing file. Corrupt or non TI BASIC files can now have contents viewed. - UI: Changed Log display to be more compact, efficient and readable. - Tuning: Faster Auto Volume. - Bug Fixes: Multiple bugs fixes and optiisations implemented Note:No promises for future versions.
